Visited this store for the first time today..1/27/16. The cash cable system (unhappily no longer in operation) reminded me of similar systems used in hardware stores more than half a century ago. Will return next Christmas time. Spotted something to fascinate my great grandson.

This store alone is worth the drive to New Braunfels. Original counter, displays and a massive amount of reasonably priced items that can't be found elsewhere. Will return!
Really interesting old school hardware shop. They have many things you will not find anywhere else. The staff their has always gone out of their way to help me locate an item to solve whatever problem has got me there in the first place. If they don't have what I need the staff is always willing to give a helpful word of advice from their own experiences. Good guys there.
