Our toob went flat as soon as we got in the river. We had to take turns riding the ice chest for 6 hours. They wouldn't even give us our money back. We bought 2 beers that cost us $9! The new owners suck!!!
New owners and the name is now toob shack. They were extremely helpful and I will be going back here again. Prices were on par with all the other outfitter/ campgrounds but the service made all the difference. Give them a shot, will be well worth it.
Two years ago I posted that I loved this place and raved about it. Now... not so much. We were pretty upset when we found out that Bezdeks was bought out and now we were expected to pay more than we have or had planned. They cut the camp sites in half and doubled the price. They allowed the campers next to our group to hook up A.C. units at their spot causing the breakers to blow throughout the day and night. And I'm not talking about 1 unit. I mean 5. 1 for each tent. 1 for a car and 1 for their canopy. It was ridiculous. NOW ON THE POSITIVE SIDE they were understanding of our complaints and did what they felt was right to fix the problem. The bathrooms were cleaner this time and they even had a family set up by the camps selling turkey legs and corn. My all time favorite. We made good friends with them. They also allow you to bring your own tube which is a plus if you want to anchor down and just float in one spot. We still had a blast after everything was said and done but I'm not sure we're going to go back there next year. We really enjoyed having Mr. and Mrs. Bezdeks and I hope their future is bright.
Felt like I was in a teenage horror movie. They have bathrooms that make you feel like you're about to get murdered and showers where you just know someone is spying on you. They have a sign with a different name than the website, so you're confused when you arrive. There is a gentleman that works there that pretty much fits every requirement for a teenage movie serial killer. All in all a fun time!
