Camp site was clean and older gentlemen was extremely helpful. However, the young lady that handles the reservations over sold the site; she stated that site one and ten (combined) could accommodate up to nine tents (which would include four large 12 person size tents). Once we arrived we quickly realized that both sites one and ten could only accommodate up three to four SMALL tents on each spot, but NOT four large (12 person) tents plus five small tents like they had said. Additionally, the large drop on both sites were a bit dangerous if you have small kids. The sites closest to the river (#1, 10, 11 etc.) are set up for people to drop off their items at the site closest to the "beach" area and then walk through two sites to get to their own - this isn't that bad when you get there but when leaving you would have to pull all your belongs and wait until the "beach" area is available to pull your car in.

I will give them 2 1/2 starts in general. Breakdown....
We had a bunch of college kids staying in two camp sites. They were loud, and they played music and did shot fireworks until 4 AM in the morning. They were so drunk and one of them ended up at the hospital. That was the only way they stopped when the Police and ambulance arrived. Several of us wanted to complaint about this but there was nobody on site to do so. The following day when we complained all we got was a simple 'sorry'. Really!! Where are the rules/policies that loud music and noise should stop at midnight the latest? We have small kids and we had to listen to profanities from these people and the music played. The night before it was similar situation but another camp site playing music and talking until 2 am.
Prices to stay are expensive. Tubing is expensive and they they tell you they are going to take you to the furthers drop point, but in reality they do not. We went tubing at 12 noon and they could have dropped us where you can do tubing for 3-4 hours. Instead they drop us in the point where you can do it for only 1-2 hours.
Had a wonderful camping trip with my family. Will be coming back again in a few months.
Over all great place for families without young kids. Nice people but we felt they didn't answer our questions truthfully.
We go to Roy's every year and love it! The folks that run Roy's are great! See you in a couple of days for our annual river trip!

Place is located in a good area. The camping sites were big enough for 4 big tents, and the staff very friendly.
I've been to dozens of campgrounds, and Roys is by far the most well kept of them all. The staff is amazing and extremely friendly, and the bathrooms & facilities are very nice and kept clean. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
**** clean bathrooms
However, there were issues with our stay. The bathrooms got stuck so for one day we could not use them. We have to use portable toilets which were disgusting and extremely bad smelly!!! And regular bathrooms are not close to the tent areas, plus they charge for the use of the shower!!!
