1st time here (wanted a home-brewed cup of joe instead of SB). Wow! What a treat! Stayed for breakfast once I saw the pancakes (to die for sweet cream cakes that are fluffy with substance and delectably tasty!).
I love Uwe’s so much! Anytime I am in town I make sure to stop by. Normally service is fast, but when there are events going on be ready to wait. Staff is friendly and food is good!
I personally meet Uwe himself and discussed his culinary experience and passion for baking and creating extraordinary product. Uwe's portrays quality and exquisite flavor, with a comfortable down home feel of the environment.
Walked in and saw a long display case filled with tasty baked goods. Had cinnamon roll and coffee, both pastries were great. The staff were very nice and the store is set up nicely with many wooden tables to give a German feel. Want to come here again!
First time here and it was great. Bakery items were delicious. I was surprised by all they had to offer. I will go back for breakfast!
I will definitely be back to try the different breads and baked goods, especially for birthdays and special events.
This will be a staple for me when passing through in the future. Or maybe even a spot to drive out to because its so darn good!
Ordered one pancake with eggs over medium(they need help knowing how to make these--had to send the first two back--basically hard-boiled "fried" eggs) and topped it all off with a cup of coffee and cinnamon roll. Their cinnamon roll had just enough icing that it wasn't overly sweet bringing out the cinnamon flavor!
