I love 2tarts. Its vegan friendly and the vegan cupcakes are my favorite. I also love that I have seen the same awesome faces greet me for a few years now. Lacey and Haley are two of my favorite tarts. They are always so polite and helpful.
Cute little store, but failed in customer service and freshness. I only ordered a cupcake and it wasn't fresh at all. Once I opened the box, it was completely smashed on its side. Careless error on staff, because I opened it up once I got to the parking lot so it wasnt roughness on my end. One of the workers seemed as of she didn't want to help me, she's a bit on the heavier side. Everything in the window looked old.
If you're looking for a true cake designer, these ladies are the real deal! I sent them inspiration for an editorial and April emailed me with sketches that completely took the shoot to a new level. Her creativity and knowledge of her craft made the sweets table shine - and yes, the pies were even more delicious than they look. This place was just alright. They did a really nice job on our wedding cakes so if that's what you've come for, my rating of the wedding cake side of this shop is probably a 4.5 stars, my only upset was they were supposed to take care of preparation for our 1st anniversary cake the one that you freeze and they did not do it. So we brought this up with them and they did apologize and gave us a 20$ gift certificate for there bakery fine whatever. Now this is where my three star rating is from, we went in to use our gift card and we ordered a vast majority of items most were dry and old which I guess I can see as we went in the evening but still I expected better. The cookies were hard and had no taste the cupcake we got was alright. Good flavor but also dry. The brownies we ordered were dry and inedible just not what you expect from a bakery that everyone raves about I was very disappointed in them as I have had good items previously so I guess go in the morning if you are going to go at all to get moist baked goods. Hope this helps.
This place is AMAZING! First, it was referred to us from a sweet gal at a hat shop in San Antonio, so we never would have found it if she hadn’t told us it was worth the drive. When we got there on Sunday morning, it was quiet and smelled amazing (we beat the church crowd). The gal working spent time explaining what all their savory dishes were and what her favorite was. Immediately, we were sold on the cleverly named “Pigs in a Poncho”. They were unbelievable! I even sent a photo to my father in law who loves piggies in a blanket. Their take on wrapping kielbasa in a homemade, amazing biscuit, then wrapping in bacon, was a pregnant woman’s dream! If you’re within an hour of this place, it’s totally worth the drive!
