The staff was extremely accommodating, kids all had a great time!
My favorite part is the bats! If you go in the last hour they’re open, you can watch the bats pig out on fruit it’s sooo cute.
(And I got a great reference from the owner to purchase an off-road vehicle, which I did the same day)
We have been there plenty of times before but today really topped all other experiences!
Small & intimate but not lacking on the animal experience! I enjoyed it more than the San Antonio zoo. They added a gem mining experience that my daughter just Loved.
This is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! The animals are very well cared for. The number and types of snakes they have is just incredible! The petting zoo was a lot of fun!

The owner's wife is managing it now and it's only going to get better and better from this point forward she has great ideas for all the exhibits the front of the park and the driveway can't wait to see the improvements each time I go... impressive privately owned Zoo with one of the most complete collection of venomous reptiles from the United States. Breeding pairs of jaguars, cougars, monkeys and so much more.
I always love to stop by here. This place has been around for 50 years. I normally don’t like zoos or support animals in captivity, but they are doing great work here with breeding programs and pretty big spaces. The groundhog has a bigger apartment than I do.
Birthday party for our 5 year old son, two AWESOME animal encounters with a fennec fox and a Burmese python named Simone!
They have wonderful ambassador animals that you can interact with. Including a baby gator you can touch. The petting zoo is so much fun. I recognize many of the same goats every time I visit. Don’t miss the Eagle Owl. That birdie could eat half the animals in the park. She’s quite majestic and intimidating.
I couldn’t have wished for more!
