We chose to stay here for a family reunion. We stayed for 4 nights and it's been amazing! The camphosts we super friendly and helpful even when we came in after office hours. We stayed in slot 12 and it had a great view and lots of space to visit and the kids to play. The grounds were clean, the river running along side it was beautiful and clean and we did lots of swimming in it! The highway from our spot was not loud at all, it sounded like a white noise in the background. We definitely will be coming back!
Love it here. Very friendly staff and camp hosts. We have been stopping here for about 8 years. Management and owners have changed but the park has always been clean and well maintained. It's noisy under two bridges, but if that doesn't bother you it's a great home base. The New Braunfels area has much to offer and is close to San Marcos and San Antonio.
Me and my neighbor both made reservations for River Ranch RV Park. Well, Hurricane Harvey decides to make an appearance that weekend so we flee Houston to the north. Called the RV park to cancel and they did cancel. Just did not return our 75.00 deposit. For either one of us. I do understand that policy is policy, we are talking about a hurricane, Mrs. Park Manager. sorry will not ever recommend this park to any one ever again.
Great place. Yes it is under the highway, but it is also on river were you can float for a bit and enjoy the cool water. It is also very close to everything in the area. Staff was polite. Camp host showed up to welcome us and help us park in our spot. He was out and about every day to keep the place clean and looked like he was there to help with anything you might need. We will definitely stay here again. Only complaint is WIFI is essentially useless. I couldn't even check my email from inside camper.
We came here during the summer for a weekend, and loved it so much that we decided to stay on long term due to my work. The staff is awesome, and the park is clean and peaceful. Yes, you can hear the freeway if you are outside, but at night with the AC, we never hear it. It's also a very safe park. We never feel uneasy when there alone at night. Great place!
