I was recently involved in an accident in NBPD jurisdiction. A man driving a 3/4 ton truck with a trailer ran a yield sign in front of me, causing me to crash my motorcycle. Thank God I didn't end up under the truck, I actually managed to just miss getting hit by the trailer. I got some road rash, but was ok. I called 911, and when NBPD showed up, they said since I didn't hit him and he didn't hit me there was no accident, and they didn't even file a report. Due to lack of a police report, the truck driver's insurance will not pay for my bike.
Thanks to some combination of lazy officers and stupid policy, NBPD just cost me a motorcycle...FU NBPD.
