I live about 30 minutes from the theater, and my boyfriend and I were excited to make a trip of it and drive to the movies. We are used to showing up about 15 minutes after the start of a movie because then we get to miss most of the previews, but not the movie itself.
The place was great. They make people keep quiet during the movie and remove people who violate the rules. They also serve food and alcohol....but it is VERY EXPENSIVE. I would not suggest to go hungry if your looking to spend less than 50 dollars...the staff brings the food and drinks to you while you watch the movie so that is real cool. You can also place orders right from your seat during the movie...shows for kids are avaliable as well. And the seats are big and comfortable.
Love, love, love the Alamo Draftouse. Their movie parties and events are fantastic. The food is always good and the wait staff is always friendly and on point!
I love the atmosphere and the events they plan. I just wish the screen were a little better quality. Theyre always very reflective. food is good not great.
This was a most unpleasant experience. Although I have two rain check tickets because of this event, I'm not sure I can to return.
I always get great service here. The ticket prices are awesome compared to other theaters. Great beer selection, and the food isn’t all that bad either!
We bought our tickets ahead of time. When we got to the movies we talked to the lady at the counter about how to get our tickets. She would not let us into the theater because they have a "nobody is allowed to pass after 10 minutes past the time of the movie, rule". However, I have checked the website as well as read the terms and conditions, but cannot find this rule anywhere. Our entire day was thrown off because of this. It is most frustrating that I cannot find this rule ANYWHERE on the website, on my confirmation email, or the terms and conditions, which is a box I did not check before purchasing by the way...
